About Property

The Sawyer Apartments is a modern multifamily property located in Los Angeles in the center of historic Koreatown with scenic views of downtown LA. This 8-story property provides 244 units of residential apartments and lofts with 300 parking spaces for residents and guests. The property boasts luxury amenities like a large pool deck and spa with cabanas, BBQ and firepit area, fully stocked fitness center, and rooftop deck.

Project Information

Chargie was contracted to install and manage EV charging stations to accommodate the growing needs of residents who own EVs. By utilizing LADWP’s Charge Up LA rebate program, Chargie was able to design and install 40 Level 2 charging stations across multiple floors within the Sawyer parking structure at no cost to the client, saving the property hundreds of thousands of dollars in hardware, infrastructure, and installation. Chargie is now responsible for the ongoing management of the EV charging stations including network operations and monitoring, 24/7 customer support, and system maintenance and repair.
