Project Information
Kaiser Permanente reached out to Chargie about installing EV charging stations at its medical laboratory so employees and guests could charge their EVs on site in a 200-space parking area. After a site evaluation, Chargie’s operations and engineering teams secured funding for the purchase and installation of 20 level 2 charging stations through LADWP’s Charge Up LA EV charger rebate program. Since the property was located in a designated disadvantaged community (DAC), the project was able to utilize funds specifically reserved for promoting the adoption and use of EVs in these areas. Chargie completed the installation at no cost to the owner through the funding received and provides ongoing management, maintenance, and 24/7 customer support for the charging stations.
