Electric vehicle (EV) charging rebates can offer significant savings on the installation of stations. Participation in rebate programs, for example those offered by local utilities, is a key approach to funding EV charger infrastructure projects.
Southern California Edison’s Small Site Rebate provides properties with up to $40,000 in savings. The Small Site Rebate Program is available to multifamily and commercial properties within the SCE service territory for the installation of up to four level 2 EV charging ports.
Eligibility:
- Must be a multifamily or commercial property
- Must be within the SCE service territory
Rebate Incentive:
- Up to $10,000 per charger
- SCE will perform all necessary utility-side meter infrastructure work
Program Requirements:
- Maximum of 4 charging stations
- Level 2 charging stations only
